If you’ve ever been to a grad party, you know how long and potentially boring they become.
One thing became clear to me after I graduated and attended tons of grad parties of all my friends and family members. The grad parties with games or interactive activities that were there for you to play were the most fun to be at!
Here’s 10 graduation party games that you can use to entertain your guests and avoid having a normal boring graduation party.
Graduation Party Games
1. Giant Pong
This is such a fun idea!
Giant pong is perfect if you have a large backyard or large grass area at your venue.

2. Bean Bag Toss
This is such a classic!
You can buy the plain one shown below, and paint it like the one shown above to match the theme of your party!

3. Yard Twister
Use the bottom of a box to create a perfect stencil to spray paint your twister mat.
Create a spinner out of a square of wood and paint or markers.
4. Ladder Toss
Ladder toss is another classic!

So fun for kids and adults!
Perfect for a big yard or venue with a large grassy area.

6. Tic Tac Toe Frisbee
Such a fun game!
Use frisbees of two different colors and simply tape a grid onto a white sheet. Get the supplies below:
7. Giant Jenga
Giant jenga is so fun, and very easy to set up!
You can make giant jenga, but you need access to a saw and filing tools. This is a good option if you’re handy! If you don’t have access to these tools or don’t have time to make giant jenga, you can buy it from amazon below:
8. Spike Ball
Spike ball is a staple for any outdoor event, and is perfect for a grad party!

9. Horseshoe
Horseshoe is another staple, and very easy for all age groups to play.
Here’s options for an more high quality or cheap version. If you plan on using horseshoe only for your grad party, I would recommend getting the cheap version. If you know you’ll be using it at outdoor events in the future, get the high quality one so it lasts longer!

So glad to see the games for late teen/ and older parties. Celebrated a 50th birthday, an engagement and a high school graduation all at the same time. Did a family BBQ recently and played an obstacle race with lego blocks and real mouse traps set, while participants were barefoot and blind folded! Was so much fun – even those watching and not participating were laughing their heads off. Best done on a hard surface and where others don’t see what is happening until it is their turn. I agree if there are activities parties aren’t so boring no matter what the ages!
