It’s spooky season, and this time you’re in college. Halloweekend is right around the corner, or, if you’re just reading it because of the “last minute” in the title, it’s probably tomorrow.
Either way, you’re going to rock your Halloweekend and have the best time. If you’re someone who doesn’t like to put a ton of effort into a costume, these are the costume options for you!
Enjoy the 16 best last minute halloween costumes, and have an amazing college Halloween!
Last Minute Halloween Costumes
This is my favorite Halloween costume right now, and I am totally going dressed as this for Halloweekend!
It’s also super easy. You just need a satin robe, cute sports bra and shorts, boxing gloves, don’t forget the braids, and you’re all set!
2. Solo Cups
Solo cups are a super funny Halloween costume, and are super easy to put together last minute.
The red portion of this costume is super versatile, depending on what kind of climate you live in and what weather you’re expecting on Halloween night.
Choose a shirt, dress, tanktop, whatever floats your boat!
Using an oversized t-shirt, you’re able to make yourself into any kind of fruit that you’d like!
This is a great one for wearing on your own, but is also perfect for a group.
4. Bad and Boujee
Bad and boujee is super easy to pull off last minute. You most likely already have everything in your closet! Have one of your friends, or yourself, dress in all black, and the other dress super extra.
I really like this fur jacket and chalkboard signs to write “bad” and “boujee” on!
5. Any Kind of Animal
“I’m a mouse, duh”
The whole Halloween joke of “put on some animal ears and call it good” is semi-true in college.
If you choose to go this route, there’s no denying it’s probably one of the best last minute costumes. All you need is some animal ears, a hot outfit, and you’re good to go!
6. Dancing Girl Emoji
This is a super funny and super easy one to pull off. This costume idea is perfect for you and a friend, and I love that the clothing items used in it can be worn regularly.
7. Bloody Ripped Thing
If you read my other Halloween costume posts (you should, they’re pretty good) you’ll know that this is literally my third time mentioning this costume. Why? Because it’s so cheap, super easy to do, and super last minute!
I get it if you want to be much more creative than this for Halloween, and I encourage you to do so. However, if cheap, fast, and easy is your jam, this is the perfect costume for you, or you and a group of friends.
8. Four Loko
I am all for dressing as your favorite alcohol for Halloweekend, and this group really pulled it off.
Easily copy this look with some tie-dye oversized t-shirts, and cut out letters or use tape so everyone knows what you’re dressed up as.
I thought this was such a cute take on one of my favorite movies, The Emperor’s New Groove!
This is a great last minute costume, and it’s one that can work for a multitude of parties. For example, I had to have a kid-friendly costume to volunteer with a local organization, and I ended up not getting a party Halloween costume because I didn’t want to spend the money. This way you’re able to have a costume that works for both!
Similar to the costume above, this one also works for more modest parties, and can be rocked at a college one!
I really like the creativity surrounding this costume, too. It’s pretty easy to throw together last minute, and the clothing items used can be creatively used again.
In the costume shown above, it looks like the “popcorn” is tissue paper colored yellow in some spots. So creative!
11. Powerpuff Girls
Powerpuff girls, but the college version. This is a great one to throw together last minute, especially if there’s a group of you and your friends that still need costumes.
Seriously, if you’re in a huge pinch you can just use black tape around the middle. This is a super last minute option, too.
Hydroflasks really became trendy over the last couple years. This is a super funny and cute costume, and is relatively easy to put together last minute.
Oversized t-shirts, some white paint, and leggings are perfect for this costume.
13. Frat Boys
Really channel your inner bro and dress as a frat boy. This one you can truly throw together last minute, and if you’re in greek life you probably have some frat boy friends that can lend you some clothes for the night.
This is a super cute one to throw together last minute, especially if you already have a black bodysuit, and maybe even pink leggings!
If you don’t have those things, get them below.
Lifeguards are a simple way to keep using your red one piece swimsuit in October. A red swimsuit is an absolute summer classic, and is a great thing to repurpose for your Halloween costume!
To make a red swimsuit into a lifeguard, simply add a lifeguard hat, fanny pack, and a whistle.
16. Gumball Machines
If you have a crafty side, this is a super easy costume to pull off. You just need to hot glue a bunch of pom poms to a white crop top, and throw on a red skirt and draw or glue on the “25c” part.
