10 Genius Ways To Stay Productive Over Winter Break
This post is about staying productive over winter break.
As soon as fall semester ends, I know the last thing you want to do is try to be productive.
Even though it is break, it’s always a good idea to stay productive and work on getting things done.
Here’s 10 genius ways to stay productive over winter break.
1. CREATE A BOOK LIST
Didn’t have any time to read first semester? Now is the time!
Research what new books came out during fall semester that you never had a chance to read. If you don’t want to buy them yourself, make your book list into a Holiday gift list!
Need some suggestions? Here’s what I’m reading this break –
- Becoming – Michelle Obama
- What Happened – Hillary Clinton
- Dear Madam President – Jennifer Palmieri
2. CLEAN OUT YOUR ROOM AT HOME
In your room at home, you probably have a lot of stuff you don’t need. If you think about it, you’ve been living at college with none of the stuff in your room.
Take time to go through everything. Make sure to donate or sell what you can!
3. PLAN A VACATION
Break is the perfect time to go on vacation! Plan one with your family and friends, or enjoy a nice get away with your significant other!
Can’t afford a vacation this year, or trying to save money? Plan a staycation!
4. BUY/RENT BOOKS FOR NEXT SEMESTER
Getting a head start on spring semester is always a good idea! Having textbooks in advance saves you any last minute panic, and gives you the opportunity to start learning about your new class.
Pro tip – Don’t forget to return your books from last semester!
5. ENJOY SOME GOOD FOOD
If you lived on campus and had to have a meal plan, you’ll know just how amazing this is. Enjoy it while you can!
