You know when you go into a store the day after Halloween and it’s suddenly holiday everything? This happens at college, too. Not everyone participates, but it’s a lot more fun if you do.

1. WRAP YOUR DOOR
Grab some orange pants and white crop tops give everyone a heavy dusting of bronzer in place of dirt, and put an interesting spin on probably every college students worst nightmare.

2. GET A MINI TREE
Mini trees are SO cute, and you can decorate them however you want! I love when people add little lights, a star, ornaments, everything!

3. HANG A BANNER
Decorating doors is a great way to make a statement for the holiday season. If spending the time wrapping your door isn’t your thing, simply hang a banner! It’s super cheap, and all you need is tape and the banner.

I think string lights are to be used year round, but there’s something about them during the holidays that just makes them so much more festive. Showcase the current lights you have in your room, add some more bright ones, or get some little fairy lights!

Remember how I’ve told you through all of the dorm decor and dorm necessities posts that you need to get throw pillow inserts and then just get covers to go over the inserts? Now is when all of that comes into play.
