Best Lofted College Beds

Dorm room season!

Decorating a dorm room is so fun to plan, and finally put together with all the excitement of move in day.

When you first walk into your dorm room, you’ll probably instantly think that it’s a lot smaller than you originally thought.

Take it from me, you’ll definitely want to loft your dorm bed if given the option. I was only able to half loft my bed, and I was disappointed with how much vertical space was wasted.

Loft your dorm bed, you won’t regret it!

Here’s 22 college dorm room ideas for lofted beds.

If you’re someone that would never want bunk beds with your roommate but you find that you’re running out of space, this is a great alternative.

As soon as you get to college you’ll realize how popular hammocking is.

Hammocking is super fun, (and you look super cool if you have a hammock under your bed)

This is a great idea for winter months when you’re unable to hang your hammock outside. Or, get a more decorative hammock to keep under your bed and another one to use outdoors!

Adding seating under the lofted bed is a great idea. I especially love when people loft both their bed and their roommates bed across from each other, with one space holding the seating, and the space across from it holding the TV.

Seating under the lofted bed is a great option for a nap area, or extra sleeping space if any friends come and stay with you!
