Halloweekend is a pretty nuts time for college students, especially if you’re a freshman. There’s a lot of pressure to go out, have the best costume, and post the best instagram picture.
Don’t stress over this stuff! It’s no big deal, and I actually knew quite a few people who didn’t go out because it was just too much of a hassle to deal with. If you want to go out but don’t really want to go alone or pick your own costume, going out with a group of friends is a great option.
If you decide to go out with a group of friends, dressing up together is even more fun. You can find each other super easily at a big party, and the instagram pictures are awesome.

1. INMATES FROM HOLES
Grab some orange pants and white crop tops give everyone a heavy dusting of bronzer in place of dirt, and put an interesting spin on probably every college students worst nightmare.
Make sure you take your Halloweekend easy, and don’t end up being an actual inmate!
2. THREE BLIND MICE
This is a super easy and super cute one to throw together last minute. All you need is a cane, sunglasses, mouse ears, and dark clothing. Just make sure you and your friends are in a group, so people understand what you are.
3. CAVE WOMEN
Channel some inner flinstones and dress up as cavewomen! This one is so cute when pulled off, especially in a big group.
4. TOURISTS
Tourists is a fairly easy costume to pull off, and it’s really funny! This costume option gets funnier the more details you put into it, and it’s even more fun if you act like a tourist the whole night.

This is such a cute halloween costume, and I absolutely love it! Get a nice silk robe, some boxing gloves, put your hair in two dutch braids and use some bronzer and purple eyeshadow to make yourself look a little rough around the edges.

This is the funniest, and probably the easiest costume to put together extremely last minute. Grab your best frat boy clothes, and enjoy a night of constant joking.

This group costume needs to be worn in groups of three. I love how this one can be put together so last minute, and is just as funny as it is cute.
All you need is two friends, and outfits that match your individual labels.

This is an iconic Halloween costume for a group of friends. Surprisingly easy to pull off, this is also an option to throw together within the last week leading up to your college Halloweekend.

Girls are dressed like this everywhere on Halloweekend nights. I never really understood why, because I’m pretty sure no one knows what this costume is supposed to be representing.
While doing research to write this post, I realized that the reason girls dressed like this for Halloweekend was because it is SUPER cheap. I’m talking $5-$8/person. If your budget is tight, this is a great option!

If pong is your crews speciality, consider dressing up as solo cups for your college Halloweekend. This costume choice is really cute, easy to throw together, and funny.
