1. UPDATE THROW PILLOW COVERS
If you’ve read any other decor posts on my site, you’ll know that I highly recommend getting throw pillows and inserts, to be able to change your throw pillows according to the season. This is perfect for the holiday season!
Here’s some super cute holiday throw pillow covers, and some throw pillow inserts in case you don’t have any.
2. HOLIDAY THROW BLANKET
This is a great example of a holiday decor item that you can keep out way past December. A cute, cozy blanket is perfect for getting into the holiday spirit without spending too much money.
3. LIGHTED BRANCH
When sifting around for holiday decor ideas, I found this absolutely adorable piece!
This is a big statement piece, perfect for an open living room. I think that this piece is absolutely perfect if you’re planning on hosting a Holiday party.
4. TABLE TOP TREES
These mini trees are adorable, and perfect for getting your living room in the holiday spirit. Mini trees are super cute to decorate with fairy lights, tinsel, and some ribbon. You can even add mini ornaments, if you would like!
5. SNOW COVERED TREE
If real trees are your thing, that’s awesome! However, I really recommend a fake tree for an apartment. They don’t shed at all, and they’re easy to put up and take down.
This tree is the perfect size for an apartment. It’s a 6 foot tree, but it’s not huge, and will be easy to store when it’s not the holiday months. I really like how this one is covered in fake snow, too!
6. GARLAND STRAND
A garland strand is perfect for apartment decor! You can wrap it around essentially anything in your living room, or it looks amazing strung on a blank wall with some command hooks. If you want to get really fancy, you can create a holiday gallery wall with this strand of garland running through it.
DINING ROOM
1. RED BERRY CENTERPIECE
This is such a cute holiday centerpiece, especially if you’re planning on hosting a holiday dinner. I love how much the red berries stand out, and this is the perfect plant decor for winter.
This iconic centerpiece comes with its own super cute vase. if you want to dress it up further, I included some thick silver ribbon that’s perfect for tying in a bow around it.
2. FLAMELESS CANDLES
These flameless candles are perfect for adding to your centerpiece, or creating a centerpiece of their own. A lot of apartments don’t allow any sort of open flame, so this is the perfect alternative! I love how these candles come in different sizes, perfect for creating a centerpiece.
3. RED CHECKER TABLE RUNNER
This table runner is so cute, and perfect for the holiday season. Not only that, but this table runner can fit in with different seasons too – making it a worthy investment!
This table would look especially cute with some lights strung across it, or some of the light up candles from above in the center of it.
4. SPARKLING SNOWFLAKE TABLECLOTH
Tablecloths are perfect for the holidays, especially if you have an older table. Tablecloths are able to hide any imperfections, while keeping your dining room super festive!
ENTRYWAY/DOOR
2. SILVER ACCENT WREATH
Adding a wreath to your front door is a timeless holiday tradition. Sometimes, there’s local fundraisers in your community where they sell wreaths to help raise money for a cause. I recommend getting one of these!
However, if you’re unable to get one of the fundraiser wreaths, there’s super cute ones you can order online. This is one of my favorites.
KITCHEN
1. HOLIDAY KITCHEN LINENS
There isn’t much holiday decorating that can go on in the kitchen, but that doesn’t mean that there isn’t any! A super simple way to add a little holiday spirit is to switch out your normal kitchen towels with holiday themed ones.
There’s a few options below, all super cute and my absolute favorite!
3. HOLIDAY OVEN MITTS
Do you love holiday baking? Use some holiday oven mitts during all of your baking adventures. Below there’s some holiday themed oven mitts, but some just fit in with the holiday season – this way you get to use them far past the holiday season!
4. SERVING TRAYS/PLATTERS
Hosting a meal during the holidays? Serving trays or platters are an absolute must! Some platters can be more budget friendly, but won’t last as long. Others are more expensive, but will last quite a few years.

2. DECORATE SOAP HOLDERS
Decorating some soap holders is a really cute way to easily decorate your bathroom. I really like the look of some painted mason jar holders, and you can decorate them for the holidays with some holiday ribbon. This adds a rustic look, and you can use these soap holders year round.
